KVG International Public School Holds Student Council Investiture Ceremony
Sullia, July 2026: KVG International Public School, Sullia, conducted its Student Council Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2026–27 at the Dr. Kurunji Venkataramana Gowda Community Hall on Friday, marking the formal induction of the newly elected student leaders.
The programme commenced with the school prayer, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. School Directors Dr. Renuka Prasad K. V. and Dr. Jyothi R. Prasad extended their best wishes to the newly elected student council members and encouraged them to uphold the values of leadership, discipline, and service.
Mohak K. was invested as the School Head Boy, Pratiksha as the School Head Girl, Shrutharaj B. S. as the Deputy Head Boy, and Fatimath Zhiba as the Deputy Head Girl. The House Captains of the four school houses also formally assumed office.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Prashanth Kumar Pai, Assistant Conservator of Forests, Sullia Division, presented the badges and insignia to the newly elected leaders. Addressing the gathering, he said that true leadership is rooted in responsibility and selfless service. He encouraged students to develop their leadership abilities while making meaningful contributions to the growth of the school and society.
School Principal Mr. Aneesh Nadh E. M. administered the oath of office to the student council and reminded the young leaders that genuine leadership is defined by integrity, discipline, humility, and service rather than authority.
Mr. Mourya R. Kurunji, Director of KVG Dental College, motivated the students to remain lifelong learners and strive for continuous self-improvement. Mr. Bhavani Shankar Adthale, School Executive Officer, highlighted the importance of discipline, punctuality, and moral values in shaping responsible citizens.
Among those present were Governing Council members Mr. Santhosh Kutta Mutte; and Mr. P. S. Gangadhara. Also in attendance were Mrs. Shilpa Biddappa, Vice Principal; Dr. Yashodha Ramachandra, Principal of KVG Amarajyothi PU College; Mr. Madhava B. T., Administrative Officer of KVG Dental College; Mr. Prasanna Kallaje; along with parents, teachers, non-teaching staff, and students.
The programme also featured a melodious musical presentation by the students, adding colour and enthusiasm to the occasion.
The Investiture Ceremony concluded on a note of pride and inspiration, reaffirming the school’s commitment to nurturing leadership qualities, responsibility, and a spirit of service among its students.
