The Sports Club was inaugurated at KVG International Public School on June 12 by Mr. Maurya R. Kurunji, Executive Director of KVG Dental College. Speaking on the occasion, he said that winning and losing are natural in sports, but it is very important for every student to participate actively in all activities.
To mark the inauguration, Mr. Maurya R. Kurunji played a game of table tennis along with the School Principal Mr. Arun Kumar and Physical Education teachers Mr. Prashanth and Mr. Rajesh. Physical Education teacher Ms. Asha Jyothi extended her support in organizing the programme.
Later, students who emerged victorious in the Olympiad examinations were honoured with gold medals and certificates.
The programme was compered by Grade 10 students Charvi H.H. and Shivani R., and the vote of thanks was proposed by Sanjana M.
The Vice-Principal, Ms. Shilpa Biddappa, along with the teaching staff, were present and extended their support for the successful organization of the programme.
